After the CPU is mounted, we use the clips (in the picture below) and mount it on top of the CPU and remember to plug in the fan connector. Do take note of unused connectors as it might get sucked in and the fan will get stucked and won't rotate.

Do you see the transparent window like which slid which directs the airflow. There is another fan (system fan) mounted on the exterior of the box which spins up when the temperature rises in the box.
In Windows XP, you can install the System Control Utility that comes with the package to control set the system to control the fans in Normal, Quiet or Fuzzy (which auto tunes). The software will also calibrate the system for the best setting. |
