Benchmarking

In Windows Movie Maker ver 2, we imported the sample file that comes with the program into it and encode it using a 1.5Mbps video WMV. Here are the timings recorded using a stop watch. From the timings, we can see that Dual Channel boards are definitely much better in such operations. The ASUS P4S800D-E is as good as the rest scoring a low of 40secs.

In terms of rendering, lightwave 7.0b is used. We used the benchmark file Radio-reflective things and rendered one frame. Here are the timings recorded in seconds (the faster the better). 47.5 secs is obtained and this is an improvement over the 655FX ref board (47.7s)
