746FX Mainboard Review (6)
Business Winstone 2001 Business Winstone is a system-level,
application-based benchmark that measures a PC's overall performance when
running today's top-selling Windows-based 32-bit applications on Windows 98 SE,
Windows NT 4.0 (SP6 or later), Windows 2000, Windows Me, or Windows XP. Business
Winstone doesn't mimic what these packages do; it runs real applications through
a series of scripted activities and uses the time a PC takes to complete those
activities to produce its performance scores. The CD-ROM that contains Business
Winstone includes all the files and application portions you need to run the
benchmark.
All boards running in SYNC DDR333 (166/166)

boards are : ASROCK K7S8X : 166.64Mhz Update :
The new scores are in labelled with (1.32a).
In Business Winstone 2001, we see a similar score. The SiS 746 and 746FX
seems to be performing wonders in this category beating the competitor by around
11.6%. The scores obtained by the various SIS 746 and SiS 746FX seems to reflect
the higher scores compared to the KT400 and nForce2 boards in the test. |
