AOPEN AX45-4D Max
Dual Channel SiS 655 Review (3) Benchmarking Before we benchmark, we document the FSB the board is running at. Below is a chart that shows the FSB (default by BIOS) for the 11 boards we use in this review : Although FSB can be very little, the difference in benchmarks obtained can vary quite a lot even if there is 1 MHz of difference in the FSB. From the chart below, we can see that the two E7205 Dual Channel DDR boards scores around 3356/3352. The AOPEN AX45-4D Max based on the SIS 655 scored a high of 3412/3411. This score is amazingly high for a new comer in the Dual Channel market. It's a pity that we can't get it to run in Async DDR400. I predict the results should reach 3500+. By simple observation, the RIMM4200 solution has to give way to Dual Channel Systems. |
