AX45-4D Max is AOPEN's SiS 655 Dual Channel DDR board. As we know, SiS 655 is a direct competitor to Granite Bay or Intel E7205. As a cheaper alternative to the Granite Bay board, this AX45-4D Max features an amount of nice features. AX45-4D Max uses the latest Dual Channel DDR chipset from SiS. This new chipset for the P4 leverages on the bandwidth hungry P4 for utmost performance.

AX45-4D Max is equipped with other useful functions such as 1MHz Stepping CPU Overclocking, 5.1 Channel audio effect with S/PDIF module, Watch Dog Timer, EzRestore which could allow you to go back to your saved point when system crashed, VividBIOS Technology providing lively vivid colorful POST screen, and SilentTek, an AOpen innovative Noise Reduction Technology.
