On March 3rd, AOPEN announced that it will release a number of boards based on nVIDIA's nForce2 chipset. It came as a surprise to me and to everyone. AOPEN has 9 different models which are both ATX and MicroATX. AOPEN AK79G Max is what we have got and it is based on the nForce2 GT+MCP-T chipsets. It features on board video with the capability of GeForce 4MX (8x). It also comes with dual channel DDR266/DDR333/DDR400 for maximum performance. It features other things like nForce Audio Processing Unit (APU), nVIDIA SoundStorm and Dolby Digital Compatible, 10/100Mbps network and integrate 1394 ports. AK79G Max also comes with SerialATA.  AOPEN AK79Max has included some very innovative and unique extra value onto the board. AOpen developed a new useful WinBIOS utility, which is a Windows-based utility and can be executed exclusively on AOpen motherboards that is compatible with the Windows 2000/XP operating systems. Starting now, you may configure your BIOS parameters whenever you like while found yourself under the Windows environment instead of rebooting and pressing DEL key. The user-friendly traditional BIOS interface designed allows you to adjust/set BIOS parameters with assistance from clear description for each item.

In addition, WinBIOS, has a multi-language interface. There are various widely-used languages provided on our website for your downloading. AOpen "considerate design" also helps to prevent wrong settings caused by misunderstanding of the languages.
