The BIOS we used to test the
board is dated 28 April 2003.
The
BIOS has a lot of options which is the tradition of SoftMenuIII.
The first stunning option of FSB is that
you can set it from 100 ~ 412 MHz at 1MHz interval. This is far more than
400MHz on most boards.
Over here, you select the
N/B Strap CPU as what sort of CPU you are using.
DRAM Ratio
means whether you want to run the memory async to the CPU FSB. As we are
using P4 3.0 which is a 800MHz (200MHz FSB) CPU, we set it to 1:1 so that
we run it in SYNC mode.
While most of
us will just FIX the AGP to 66MHz, you can select it to run as a ratio of
the CPU. That is to say, to choose a divider.
Here is where you can FIX the AGP to 66 ~ 96.
PCI will be halved of AGP.
CPU Vcore voltage is not
limited to 1.7v but a high of 1.925v. Nice!
DDR can be set from 2.5v ~ 2.8v which is quite standard
AGP voltage is only limited up to 1.65v
which is quite normal too.
We set our ram settings to 2-5-2-2. We
enabled CPC and set performance mode to Ultra.
