ABIT IC7-G Canterwood 875P Review (1) Bluetooth 4 June 2003
ABIT IC7-G
The IC7-G is ABIT's Canterwood offering. As we
know Canterwood or 875P is the top notch platform aimed at workstations and
specifications are similar, it would be a re-run of what it can support or what
it can't which is listed in the features below.
Being one of the top company that does
overclocking, ABIT IC7-G not only overclocks but brings the best overall
performance to the IC7-G. Being the only company that supplies the ABIT
Serillel2 bundled with the board, ABIT IC7-G is the only board in its class to
allow you to take advantage of Hot-Plug functionality and
ATAPI Devices, such as CD-ROM, CD-RW, DVD-ROM, allowing users to experience the
advantages of cool, clean cases with all of their IDE devices! With Serillel2
and the SATA 150 RAID 0/1 controller by Silicon Image, only ABIT allows users to
connect up to 8 Hard Disks at once!
While most other boards uses other chipsets and not taking
advantage of what CSA can offer, ABIT IC7-G incorporates CSA LAN with the Intel®
82547EI Gigabit Ethernet Controller. CSA enables bi-directional Gigabit
networking with higher performance and lower latency.
