Benchmarking

We conduct the usual tests on the setup with the following configuration :

Test System:

AMD AthlonXP 1500+ and Thermoengine heatsink/fan
Maxtor 40G 7200RPM ATA133 HD
AOPEN 40X CDROM
MSI Geforce3 Ti200 Graphics card
Nanya DDR333 256MB DDR
Channelwell 375W AMD Approved PSU

The BIOS we used is dated 8 Apr 2002. We ran the tests based on the best timings as indicated in the screen captures in the gallery. The tests are all done based on Cas 2, Turbo timings and Async DDR333 setting.

ZD Winbench99 scores

We compared the benchmark results of the disk winmarks and noticed that the Dragon board seems to be slightly slower in disk access. We verified and all boards were tested based on 4.37 4in1. This could be a BIOS issue which deters the disk winmarks.

CC Winstone 2000

Content creation 2000 measures the benchmark results of system performance when running Content creation software like Adobe Photoshop etc. In the comparison, we can see that it all the boards performance varies quite a lot but within 3% of difference. Our SOYO Dragon performs pretty well in this category scoring a high of 50.7 which overtook the ABIT AT7.
