Conclusion

Xabre 600 is definitely a better performer compared to the GF4 MX440 card. From the performance levels. Xabre 600 could be just another option when you decide to purchase a low end graphics card for your system. As this is an engineering sample, I suppose the performance levels should be similar to the final retail products in the market. In our tests, we were unable to get CodeCreatures to run. It aborted with an error message. Well that is always the case for new products. It will probably take some time for patches to appear to sort that out.

The 3Dwizard also make it easy to set various parameters in making it perform under performance or quality image and anti aliasing settings. The integrated overclocking tools also makes it easy for everyone who is crazy about overclocking graphics card to have some fun.

At this moment, there is no pricing information available and we expect to see some retail cards soon on the market. Stay tuned for it. Some of the brands making Xabre 600 will be ECS, DFI, Powercolor etc.
