Benchmarking

We conduct the a number of tests on the setup with the following configuration :

Test System:

• AMD XP2400+
• ABIT KD7-RAID DDR333 Async mode CAS 2, 2-2-5
• Corsair 512MB XMS3200 DDR400 module
• SiS Xabre 600
• Chaintech GF4 MX440 64MB with Detonator 40.41
• Maxtor D740X-6L ATA133 7200RPM
• AOPEN 40X CDROM
• Channelwell 375W AMD Approved PSU 

Quake 3 Demo 001

We benchmark Q3 Demo001 at various modes and found out that the Xabre 600 leads the pack. Comparing the GF4 MX440 with Xabre 600 at the same resolution. You would notice the big jump in performance of the Xabre 600 by around 18.1%. If we overclock it to 335/350, the performance increased by another 8 fps.
