Shuttle launches SS51G, a Pentium 4 board based on SiS651 integrated video chipset. Based on the SiS651 chipset, it supports the Pentium 4 Socket 478 400/533CPUs. It allows 2 modules of DDR266/DDR333 memory to be used on the system. From the looks of it, it seems an excellent choice for home office use where you need to have more desk space. It comes standard with Video output, LAN, Firewire ports, 6 channel audio, USB 2.0 ports. It's definitely a highly integrated system which could well be a replacement of your desktop machines. The probably most important feature on board is the USB 2.0 support and an upgraded stylish posh design and with the capability to install an external VGA card. It also features a almost noiseless patented Integrated Cooling Engine (I.C.E.) heat pipe technology which lowers the noise level further.

The I.C.E. heat pipe allows the elimination of the processor fan, greatly reducing noise and allowing a much quiet environment. Coupled with the I.C.E. is a speed and temperature controlled 80mm fan, which only speeds up when the system is placed under stress.

Powerful PSU - The SS51 comes with customized low noise 200W PSU, powerful enough to satisfied power-hungry high performance AGP graphics card along with the abundance of onboard features provided. The result is an ultra quiet and ultra cool smooth running system.

Blistering Performance - No longer will SFF computers be saddled with sub-standard performance. The XPC SS51 breaks the SFF performance barrier with DDR333, ATA-133, AGP 4x, and Intel P4 processors up to 2.53GHz and beyond at 533MHz Front Side Bus.

Exceptional Connectivity - Like all XPC's, the SS51 offers the best in connectivity and external expandability. Traditional XPC features like IEEE1394 Firewire?, S-Video and Composite Out, 5.1 channel audio with digital optical out (SPDIF) and USB have been further expanded with the XPC SS51 by the addition of DVI (Digital Video Interface), four USB2.0 ports, and SPDIF input.
