Shuttle SS51G P4 Barebone System Gallery (2)
Overclocker 24 Jul 2002

The Internal

The box looks very identical the SS50. The major difference is that the heatsink adopts the concept of SS40 where by a heatpipe is used. A fan is mounted at the rear which sucks the hot air. The fan speed is also variable which only spins up at a threshold CPU heat temperature set within the BIOS.

The retention mechasnium in the shape of a cross to secure the heatsink to the P4.

The manual gives a very good description on how to buckle and unbuckle the retention mechanism.
