Installation

In our setup, we need to hook it up to our Efficient Speedstream 5660 ADSL Router. Before you proceed, it is important that the ADSL router in this case be operating in the BRIDGE mode. You can configure the Efficient Speedstream 5660 through the web based interface at 10.0.0.1. 

If you have been using the 5660 as a bridge i.e you are using some PPPoE client to logon to your ADSL network, then you do not need to change the existing mode.

Hook up the cables as instructed in the manual. Do counter check if the communications are working by checking the data integrity lights on the devices.
