MSI 845E Max2 (11)
Conclusion MSI 845E Max2 is the first 845E board we review here. With the IIA, it helps to boost the performance of Business applications and Content creation software to great heights overtaking even the i850e RAMBUS when we tuned it to Cas 2,agressive timings of 2-2-5. In terms of 3D performance, both D3D and OpenGL tests seems to show average results when compared to ASUS 645DX and Intel i850E RAMBUS board. The MSI 845E Max2 has lots of neat features that needs a mention. They are ATA-133 RAID, FSB (1mhz) up to 233Mhz, Vcore, DDR voltages adjustable, Onboard LAN, 6 Channel audio, USB 2.0 and PC2PC Bluetooth. This features makes the MSI 845E Max2 a complete solution. MSI 845E Max2 is also the first board to incorporate Bluetooth technology onto mainboard - an innovative start. Installation is straightforward for normal usage but when it comes to configuring the Bluetooth, you would have to take some time to digest the minimum documentation on the package. That is something that needs improvement on. Overclocking wise, this board has up to 233Mhz FSB for you to play with. As we are short of time, we did not really test out the highest FSB this board can run stable at. This board does provide very cool o/c features like FuzzyLogic 4 which you can increase FSB within Windows or you can change the settings within BIOS. DDR and AGP voltages are also adjustable within BIOS. Pros 好处:
