The well known test for Direct3D with DirectX8.1 installed. The results are very obvious. The D3D results seems to favour the Intel chipset. The results of MSI 648 Max 6984 puts the it in the higher end of the spectrum in this comparison chart. The performance is quite consistent with the Reference board.
