Memory Benchmarks

SiSoft Sandra 2002

The infamous SiSoft Sandra 2002 is used to test out the memory benchmarks. All the systems are tweak to it's maximum possible settings of CAS 2, 2-2-5.

The chart below compares the memory benchmark scores when we run the boards at various CPU/Memory Freq Ratio at DDR266, DDR333 and DDR400. For DDR266 and DDR333, RAM is set to CAS 2, 2-2-5. At DDR400, it is set to CAS 2, 3-3-6.

In our tests, although we are able to obtain Memory benchmark scores of the MSI 648 Max running at DDR333 mode, a score of 2569/2573 is registered. Compared to the ASUS P4S8X and Shuttle AS45GTR, this board scored much better and the results are close to the SiS 648 Reference board. The MSI 648 Max board is running at 133.98Mhz FSB.
