The mainboard featuring the VIA KT400 chipset 5 PCI and 1 AGP slot. RTL 10/100Mbps LAN. Realtek ALC650 6 channel audio chipset is used in replacement of the 4 channel Creative CT5880
A dip switch for modifying the multiplier of the CPU. I wonder why Gigabyte is going back to using dip switches rather than making this setting available within BIOS. 2 channels of ATA-133 RAID supported by Promise chipset and 2 channels of ATA-133 interface. On the right hand bottom corner are the connectors for Secure digital (brown), Memory stick (White) and Smart Card Reader (black) The VIA south bridge 8235 supporting ATA133, USB2.0. A dip switch is located and is selectable for 100,133 or 166. Looks like the possibility of 166Mhz CPUs might be a reality. Dual BIOS on board. On the left are 2 x USB 2.0 connectors and 3 firewire connectors |
