Continuing the tradition of excellence in product design, EPoX brings out their long awaited special edition of the 8K9A series 8K9A2+. 8K9A2+ is the best features board among the 8K9A series of mainboards. It features some of the best and they include the HightPoint HPT372RAID on board which provides ATA-133 RAID. Serial ATA using SATALink chipset by Silicon Image. If every port is connected, it is possible to hook up 4 HD for RAID 0+1, 4 for CDROMs and ATA133 HD and 2 for SerialATA HD. A 6 channel audio chipset ALC650 is also implemented on board for digital audio. There is also LAN port, 4 USB 2.0 ports at the rear and 2 more can be added via connectors. The Debug LED together with the Watch Dog timer helps in determining of why you can't get your system to overclock or function properly. EPoX's board has never failed in delivering one of the largest range of selectable voltage options. Similar to the EPoX 8K3a+, this mainboard allows adjustable Vcore from 1.4v up to a high of 2.0v. CPU Ratio is selectable from 6x ~ 15x. DDR voltage is selectable too up to +0.7v or 3.2v. CPU Clock is adjustable from 100 ~ 255Mhz at 1Mhz stepping. On top of that, you can select DDR 266,333, or 400 for your Async DDR memory. During the boot up of the mainboard, the screen which monitors the various temperatures and fan speeds for easy reading.
