Benchmarking

Quake 3 Demo 001

The test is done based on Q3 Demo 001 at 800x600x32. It is not difficult to see that all the scores of 250+ are obtained using the SiS 648 chipset. ASUS P4S8X falls short of a few points behind the SiS reference board and Shuttle AS45GTR. Judging from the results, the increase in bandwidth might have helped by pushing the fps higher.
