Conclusion

ASUS P4B533-E is another product that has excellent features. In fact, it has all the features that makes it a complete solution. Some of the multimedia features are the MS/CD connectors that comes on board and it will definitely come useful for those who uses digital media storage like memory sticks. The 6 channel audio and SPDIF in/out is also a standard feature which will definitely appeal to those who uses the PC for video editing and watching DVD.

Performance wise, the i845E board is performing just average considering that the FSB of 133 is in fact running at 134.66. Looks like more BIOS will be made available to tune up the performance of this board soon. The BIOS we used is ver 1002.007 dtd 11 Apr 2002.

Overclocking wise, this board has up to 200Mhz FSB for you to meddle with. The vcore, agp, voltages are also adjustable thus making it quite complete. 

Overall, this board performs average but it has a feast of features that will be useful to user who wants a stable system for desktop publishing and high speed disk access through ATA-133 RAID.
