If I remember correctly, the last SiS board
ABIT manufactured was a number of years ago. It looks like ABIT is back in
business and must have discovered that SiS645 chipset is cheap performance
winner for the Pentium 4.
The SiS 645 chipset brings down the costs of
mainboards as it has one of the the best price / performance ratio to date. The
SiS645 chipset needs no introduction as it has proven itself in most previews
done at various websites. It is a one of the strongest contender among the P4
DDR chipsets with its support of DDR266 and DDR333 DDR RAM. This definitely
makes it one of the most attractive alternative to other chipsets that only
supports DDR266.
So will ABIT SD7-533 makes a difference as
compared to the rest of the boards using the same chipset? How does it compare ?
