Benchmarking

Before we benchmark, we document the FSB the board is running at. Below is a chart that shows the FSB (default by BIOS) for the 10 boards we use in this review :

Although FSB can be very little, the difference in benchmarks obtained can vary quite a lot even if there is 1 MHz of difference in the FSB.

We compare the memory benchmarks of 4 845GE boards, ASUS P4GE-V, ABIT BG7E, Shuttle SB51G and Intel 845GE board. SiSoft Sandra Memory Benchmark scores 2586/2988 which is the highest among the 4 845GE boards (ASUS runs at 135). The memory benchmarks scores are pretty close to one another if you noticed.
