The supporting chipsets and BIOS settings

SoftMenuIII is available for easy setup of the mainboard. For easy setup, just choose the CPU Operating Speed of your CPU. In our case, P4 2.4G (533). Otherwise, you can choose the specific External Clock (for overclocking by fsb, multiplier factor has no effect as CPU is hardwired for multiplier) and PCI bus frequency, DRAM Ratio (CPU:DRAM). The CPU Vcore Voltage can be set from std voltage to other voltages that is +5%,+10%, +15% of the default voltage. The DRAM Voltage can be set from 2.5v, 2.6 and 2.7v.

Ext Clock (CPU/AGP/PCI) - 100 ~ 250 at 1Mhz stepping
PCI Bus Frequency - ExtClk/3, ExtCLk/4, 44 (FIX), 37 (FIX) or 33 (FIX)
DRAM Radtio H/W Strap : High (133), Low (100), meant for specifying the type of CPU (400 or 533 version)
DRAM Ratio (CPU:DRAM) is either 1:1 (Sync) or 4:3 (Async). 4:3 means CPU runs at 133Mhz FSB and memory runs at 100Mhz (or rather DDR200)

Advanced Chipset Features allows us to maximise the ram timings used for best optimal performance (depends on RAM quality). In our case, we used the Winbond DDR333 512MB Module. We set it to run in Manual mode and set it to 2-5-2-2. The AGP Aperture is set to 128MB. Enhanced DRAM Performance to Enabled.
