Benchmarking

We conduct the usual tests on the setup with the following configuration :

Test System:

AMD AthlonXP 1500+ and Thermoengine heatsink/fan
Maxtor 40G 7200RPM ATA133 HD
AOPEN 40X CDROM
MSI Geforce3 Ti200 Graphics card
Nanya DDR333 256MB DDR
Channelwell 375W AMD Approved PSU

We used the BIOS supplied with the mainboard and tested the board at DDR333 mode. Ram timings are set to Cas 2 Ultra. The other boards in the comparison are Gigabyte 7VRXP, MSI KT3Ultra, Shuttle AK35gtr v2.2 all running at Async DDR333 mode.

ZD Winbench99 scores

As we can see, the results of the 4 boards are quite similar. The difference is very minimal.

CC Winstone 2000

Content creation 2000 measures the benchmark results of system performance when running Content creation softwares like Adobe Photoshop etc. In the comparison, we can see that ABIT AT7 has a lead over the other KT333 board. The Shuttle AK35GTR v2.x is very close in terms of performance in this category. Looks like KT333CE stepping does improve performance.
